Paul Dooley, European Division Marketing & Communications Officer and UK Commercial Director at Great American Insurance Group, will provide delegates with an overview of the European Division of Great American Insurance Group. Using a variety of case studies, Paul will give delegates an introduction to Great American International Insurance UK’s product range, explain the underwriting approach, distribution strategy and the partnership approach they foster with MGAs and brokers. Paul will introduce delegates to GREATpolicy, the online quote & bind platform for construction single project insurance.

About the speaker
Paul Dooley is the European Division Marketing & Communications Officer and UK Commercial Director at Great American Insurance Group.
Paul’s role involves delivery and communication of marketing strategy across the European Division as well as driving cultural and brand elements for the business.
From a UK perspective, Paul is responsible for the Distribution strategy, relationship management, new product development, revenue and collaboration with the underwriting teams in delivery of new proposals and broker/client engagement.
Paul has spent nearly 35 years in the insurance industry across a variety of roles within Insurer, MGA and Broker disciplines. Originally trained as a Construction & Engineering Underwriter, he moved through various assignments throughout his career, and spent nearly 4 years as the Director of Insurance for Stobart Group prior to joining Great American in March 2017.
