How do you make the most of your apprenticeship levy? Did you know that you can gift some of your levy to industry peers and not-for-profits who may be too small to pay into a levy pot in the first place?
Join our upcoming webinar where specialists from Davies’ Learning division, Tim Scales, Business Development Director, John McDermott, Head of Business Development and Graeme Pratt, Client Relationship Manager will take you through the structure of specialist insurance apprenticeships, and the benefits they bring for your business and people. With a wealth of knowledge between them, the team will discuss the process of the levy and how to support both apprentices and managers during the process.

About the speakers
John McDermott – Head of Business Development, Davies Learning Solutions
John has worked in the world of apprenticeships and training for over 8 years. After working hard to raise the profile of apprenticeships back in 2014, he moved on to recruiting talent through apprenticeships as an alternative to university. With a huge understanding of the Apprenticeship Levy fund, he now consults on apprenticeships at all levels with businesses and their dedicated recruitment teams. John partners up with these teams to help them rethink their L&D strategy, and recently worked on projects that looked to improve internal mobility & enhance retention, boost D&I across the organisation, and support with finding the next generation of talent.
Tim Scales – Business Development Director, Davies Learning Solutions
Tim is an expert in the consultation and creation of bespoke training programmes within financial services and beyond, having worked within apprenticeships, employability and resourcing for many global brands over 15 years. With a talent of achieving maximum ROI through collaboration, Tim’s belief in the importance of personal and professional development has only grown in light of the shift in working culture in the last few years. As a result, he is now more inspired than ever to help organisations tap into apprenticeship funding and nurture employees to be more skilled and engaged in their work.
