The session will cover the current (and commonly seen) risks and issues that can arise on M&A transactions (from a buyer’s perspective) and the various options available to buyer’s to prevent or protect against these risks.
Learning objectives:
- Delegates to be aware of/have an understanding of the common issues and risks that can present on an M&A transaction;
- Delegates to be aware of/have an understanding of the various options open to a buyer in terms of solving or protecting against such issues and risks;
- Delegates to be aware of market practice relating to such protections so that they are fully aware of the reasonableness/likelihood of success in terms of asking for and negotiating such protections
