Gamma Location Intelligence (Gamma LI) has collaborated with financial and insurance institutions to address their physical and transitional climate risk reporting requirements from a regulatory perspective.
The team has developed a standardised approach that can be applied to both insurers and MGAs, offering a pragmatic and practical starting point for their climate assessment journey.
In this session, Gamma Location Intelligence (Gamma LI) will explore the essential aspects that MGAs need to understand, including regulatory requirements, what can be measured today and how it can be reported.
At the end of this session, delegates will be able to: –
- Outline the challenges of assessing physical and transitional risk at property level
- Summarise the regulatory landscape in relation to physical and transitional risk reporting
- Explain how to measure, monitor and report on climate change
- Describe how a practical approach can be implemented to address reporting challenges in the short and medium term
