An exploration of the nature of resilience, particularly to what degree it can be learned. This will be underpinned by a range of models and ways of thinking that are intended to provide the attendees with practical methods of developing their own resilience.

Ian Mercer
Originally an electronics engineer for 10 years, with a brief interlude teaching science and IT, Ian then ran a training department which led to a Masters in the psychology and sociology of people and organisations, followed by the award of Accredited Executive Coach by the Association for Coaching.
All of this gave him a wealth of knowledge in group dynamics and personal behaviours that has helped him to understand and explore organisations, teams and individuals.
For over 10 years, Ian has brought Executive Coaching to organisations large and small, charity, public and private including MGAs and insurance brokers.
