Our Life & Protection division offers unique cover for individuals and groups in the UK, EEA and world-wide.  Products include cover for complex and high value groups, term-life cover for individuals with health / lifestyle issues, individuals and groups working in areas of conflict, high sums insured and life and income replacement for expatriates. 

We believe that what we are able to do on life business is unique:1.   We employ our own full-time underwriter, a hugely experienced former Lloyd’s underwriter, able to assess risks immediately they are received, and all of our life team just works on non-standard risks.2.   We have exclusive access to various European markets who are able to offer terms on older lives and individuals with health problems as well as standard EU and EEA nationals.3.   We are able to tailor bespoke cover for individuals and affinity groups to respond to partners’ exact requirements4.   We can access both the Lloyd’s market using our own binding authority and offshore insurers to provide cover for international risks.5.   We can easily combine life and accident cover through our own underwriters to provide protection for the most challenging risks.6.   We can provide life cover for ultra-high net worth individuals and those requiring complete confidentiality with sums insured up to £50m.

The Specialty unit provides cover for PA, travel and K&R in the UK and EEA.  Terms are comparable with the leading insurers in the market, offering first class customer service at a competitive price.  Quotations are usually provided within 24-hours of receipt of underwriting information, without the need to re-key underwriter presentations in a specific format.

The Sports & Leisure Schemes division was established following the acquisition of STB Insurance Brokers in Norwich.  Insurance is arranged for a wide variety of sports and leisure activities in the UK and Ireland. We provide tailored insurance products for businesses, associations, leagues, clubs, teams and individuals as well as more general commercial combined facilities. 

Pulse’s European business is transacted through our Brussels based business, Classic Financial Solutions, which enables us to transact EU and EEA based risks.
